I would like to know if “authentic” will be an option for online Seasons? I have been wanting a more realistic gameplay for years and I don’t like to play the CPU.

While I like fut I wish it was realistic. I am not sure why they didn’t actually offer two versions for every mode. To me they are going to force people who want realism to either play offline or quit playing. Unless I am misunderstanding it but it looks like online is arcade and offline is realism.

But you can choose to only play people that play ”manual” or semi assisted in Seasons in FC25 so I don’t se why they couldn’t make it so that you can choose between ”authentic” and “arcade” as well.

The right thing would be to make both options online. That way people who want to play realistic would still be able to play. Also what about people who want an arcade experience offline. Why should they be forced to play online. If they only gave you the option to play realistic online you wouldn’t like it. I think this will really hurt a lot of the player base. Also let’s say you do enjoy the arcade gameplay. You think everyone wanting realism isn’t going to try to get ea to nerf it? People will say the scorelines are to high ping pong passing and pace is to strong. Now ea might actually ignore people wanting realism but they might not so it still might impact your experience.

It looked like it says online will be arcade and offline modes like career mode will be realism. While it gave examples of online as ultimate team and clubs it never said what category seasons fell into. I suppose we will have to wait for each deep dive to really know.

Yeah, hopefully they will let us people who doesn’t like the craziness that is FUT etc still have something to play online. Will be a pass for me if it’s arcade all the way online.
