FC 26 In-Game Store Error – Purchases Fail Before Payment (PlayStation)
Hello, I am reporting a critical issue regarding EA SPORTS FC 26 that has been ongoing for more than two weeks. I am unable to purchase FC Points through the in-game store. When selecting any amount of FC Points, an error message appears immediately, before reaching the payment method selection. Purchases on the PlayStation Store work normally and subscriptions and other PlayStation Store purchases are successful. The issue only affects EA SPORTS FC 26 in-game purchases and FC Points purchased directly from the PlayStation Store are charged but not credited to my EA account. This strongly suggests a synchronization or entitlement issue between my PlayStation account and my EA account rather than a payment or banking problem. I have contacted both PlayStation Support and EA Support multiple times. PlayStation confirms there is no restriction or block on my PSN account. EA Support acknowledged the issue and documented it as a bug but no individual resolution was possible and cases were closed automatically. At this point the issue appears to be related to account linking or entitlement validation between the PlayStation Store and EA servers. I am an active player with significant monthly spending on EA games and it is extremely frustrating to be unable to use in-game purchases for such an extended period without a clear technical resolution. I would appreciate if a Community Manager or a member of the technical team could look into this issue verify whether it is a known problem check the EA and PlayStation account link and entitlements on my account and confirm if this can be escalated internally.
