Missing ECL Finals Drop, Closed Case, No Fix, No Real Compensation
Hi EA Community and EA Staff,
I am posting this publicly because my private support case has been closed without resolution, and I have been left with no way to follow up.
THE ISSUE
During the ECL Finals Twitch Drop event, I had my Twitch account correctly linked to my EA account. I watched the stream and successfully claimed BOTH drops on Twitch (15 min and 60 min). The 15-minute drop was delivered to my FC 26 account. The 60-minute drop was never delivered — and still has not been to this day.
WHAT EA SUPPORT TOLD ME
I contacted EA Chat Support multiple times. Each time I was told:
• The issue is known and affects multiple players
• The team is working on it
• Please be patient
I was patient. No update ever came.
HOW MY CASE WAS HANDLED
My support case now shows as CLOSED — but not resolved. No explanation was given. No follow-up email. No fix.
To make matters worse, my Chat Support access has since been grayed out and is no longer available to me. I cannot open a new chat. I tried contacting EA through the “Contact Us” form on EA Help — no response.
The only thing I received was a Rare Gold Player Pack as “compensation.” At this stage of the game cycle, with TOTS and Women’s Champions League content active, this is not compensation — it is an insult.
WHY THIS MATTERS — TIMING IS EVERYTHING
This is not just about one missing pack. At the time the 60-minute drop should have been delivered, the prize pool included:
• Women’s Champions League Winner cards (FC Barcelona Femení)
• Ultimate TOTS cards
Those cards are NO LONGER available in packs. The window has closed. A delayed fix now — even if it ever comes — cannot replicate what that pack was worth at the time it should have been delivered.
EA did not just fail to deliver a pack. EA failed to deliver it during a specific, time-limited content window that can never be recreated.
WHAT I AM ASKING FOR
1. A clear public explanation of why this issue was closed without resolution
2. Restoration of my Chat Support access so I can follow up
3. Compensation that reflects the actual value of the missing drop at the time it should have been delivered — not a throwaway gold pack
I have followed every step EA asked of me. I was patient. I was respectful. I did everything right on my end — Twitch linked, drop claimed, conditions met.
I should not have to post on a public forum to get a basic issue resolved, but here we are.
