INPUT LAG: AGAIN, AND AGAIN...SINCE OCTOBER

I’m a professional player in the Clubs mode (yes, it exists, and yes, there is a competitive scene with tournaments and relatively high prize pools), and since the October patch – which I don’t remember the exact version of – I haven’t been able to play properly at 100%. My game has input lag both in Rivals and in Clubs, whether it’s League matches or 11v11. Unfortunately for me, the mode where I experience the most input lag is Clubs 11v11, which is exactly where I play and compete professionally the most.

In the last few patches they improved it a little, but after last week’s patch it became completely unplayable. I haven’t tested it in Clubs yet, because the tournaments only happen at night here in my country, Brazil. My desktop PC is very good, and I can run any game smoothly on High or even Ultra settings. In fact, EA FC 26 runs on Ultra with no issues in offline modes. My internet connection is 1GB fiber optic.

I have no idea how to fix this bug. I’ve tried everything suggested here on Reddit, on the EA forums as well, and I’ve opened several tickets with game support, but nothing works – I simply can’t play. And it’s not just me; many PC players are having the same problem. Unfortunately, I think they will only fix this in EA FC 27. Four and a half months have passed and there’s still no fix for the input lag affecting PC users.
