EA SPORTS FC 27 CAREER MODE FEEDBACK
I want to report a serious Career Mode issue and suggest some features that could make Career Mode much better.
- CHAMPIONS LEAGUE KNOCKOUT PROGRESSION BUG
In my Liverpool Manager Career save, I played Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter-final.
First leg: Real Madrid 2-1 Liverpool
Second leg: Liverpool 1-0 Real Madrid
Aggregate: 2-2
Liverpool won the penalty shootout.
Liverpool should have advanced to the next round and played Bayern Munich. However, the game treated Real Madrid as the winner instead. The Bayern Munich fixture did not appear for Liverpool, and Real Madrid continued in the competition.
Please investigate Champions League knockout progression after penalty shootouts and make sure the correct team advances.
- CAREER RECORDS AND TROPHY CABINET
Career Mode should properly remember everything the player achieves.
I would like to see:
Career trophies
League titles
Champions League titles
Domestic cups
Individual awards
Goals and assists
Career records
Best seasons
Major achievements
Medal and trophy presentations
A complete career history
A proper trophy cabinet
If you win a major trophy, the game should make the achievement feel important and remember it permanently.
- LEGENDS OF THE DECADE
Add a Legends of the Decade feature.
At the end of every decade, Career Mode could recognize:
Player of the Decade
Best Young Player of the Decade
Best Older Player of the Decade
Best Team of the Decade
Best Manager of the Decade
Best Goalkeeper
Best Defender
Best Midfielder
Best Forward
Top Scorer
Most Assists
Most Trophies
Greatest Match Comeback
Greatest Player Comeback
The game could show the statistics and achievements that earned each player or team their place in the decade’s history.
- GREATEST PLAYER COMEBACK
This should not only be about a comeback in one match.
Career Mode could recognize a player’s entire comeback story.
For example, a player could have a terrible period where their performances are poor and fans become unhappy with them. They could then suffer an injury, return to football and completely turn their career around.
They could start scoring regularly, improve their performances, win awards, help their team win trophies and go from being heavily criticized to becoming a club legend.
At the end of the decade, the game could recognize this as the Greatest Player Comeback of the Decade and show the player’s journey, statistics, achievements and important moments.
- PLAYER CAREER 2.0
Make Player Career much deeper.
Add more player-life activities, travel, teammate interactions, manager interactions, rivalries, career decisions, sponsors, awards, records, trophy cabinets and proper retirement and career recaps.
I would like Player Career to feel more like actually living the footballer’s career instead of only playing matches.
- PRESIDENT CAREER MODE
Add a new President Career Mode.
The player could create or choose a club, appoint the manager, set the club’s vision, approve major transfers, manage finances, choose sponsors, develop the stadium, improve youth facilities, set objectives and make major club decisions.
- DYNAMIC FOOTBALL HISTORY
After playing 10, 20 or 30 seasons, Career Mode should show how football changed.
It could remember dominant teams, legendary players, greatest managers, greatest comebacks, biggest rivalries, record-breaking seasons and historic matches.
- CLUB LEGACY
Every club could have a Legacy page showing its greatest managers, greatest players, biggest wins, biggest defeats, greatest comebacks, most trophies, most appearances, greatest academy graduates, historic rivalries and legendary seasons.
- MORE CAREER EVENTS
Add more realistic events throughout a career, such as academy breakthroughs, player development stories, manager changes, board decisions, transfer drama, rivalry moments, record-breaking seasons, milestone celebrations, club anniversaries and unexpected career comebacks.
- MY EXTRA SUGGESTION
Career Mode should create its own football history.
After many seasons, the game should be able to show the story of that specific save. Every career should feel different because of the players, clubs, managers, transfers, trophies, records and events that happened.
I really enjoy Career Mode and would like EA to keep expanding it. Features such as Player Career 2.0, President Career Mode, Legends of the Decade, Trophy Cabinets, Club Legacy, Dynamic Football History and Greatest Player Comebacks could make Career Mode much deeper and give players more reasons to keep playing.
