Community Feedback: Re-evaluating Achraf Hakimi's Exclusion from Promos
Introduction & Core Principle:
As established by universal legal standards and basic human rights, "an accused person is innocent until proven guilty." Unfortunately, Achraf Hakimi has faced a continuous and unjustified marginalization by EA spanning from FC 24 through FC 25, FC 26, and now FC 27, purely based on unproven and ongoing legal allegations. Despite delivering consistently elite performances, he has been systematically barred from receiving performance-based items across two distinct categories:
- 1. Exclusion from TOTW & Special Promos: Hakimi has been completely overlooked for performance-based Team of the Week (TOTW) upgrades and promotional cards, ignoring his stellar on-field contributions and record-breaking matches.
- 2. Omission from Team of the Year (TOTY): Throughout FC 24, FC 25, and FC 26, he was unjustifiably blocked from receiving prestigious Team of the Year (TOTY) items, despite rightfully earning his place among football's elite—as proven by his official selection in the FIFA The Best Men's XI for the 2025/2026 season (as shown in the attached image).
The FIFA The Best Validation & The Presumption of Innocence:
- 1. Official Recognition by FIFA: As the supreme governing body of world football, FIFA would never associate its prestigious awards with a player whose inclusion would compromise its reputation.
- 2. Legal Principle of Innocence: Because ongoing legal matters remain unresolved and unconvicted, penalizing an athlete inside a video game sets an unfair precedent while actively depriving the community of playing with one of the world's finest full-backs.
Recommended Action & Feedback:
- Re-Evaluate Content Restrictions: Separate unproven, pending legal accusations from merit-based athletic achievements, TOTW upgrades, and official accolades like TOTY.
- Restore Fairness & Community Enjoyment: Allow deserving athletes to receive the cards their real-world performances earn, respecting international football bodies' recognition.
