Ea FC 27 gameplay review

I think personally the game has some potential. A big but is that they’ve adjusted things horribly.

Manual defending it can be good at times but I feel like it’s also annoying as if you’re jockeying your opponent most times they can simply just turn you and score a goal or if you rush out slightly to far they’ve scored you drop back they shoot they score.I feel like the Ai need to be slightly stronger so that they can actually drop back and win the ball. It’s also the positioning of players. For me when my opponent is attacking they have options Everytime I’m one person I can’t mark 6 things at once. The fullbacks don’t defend or do anything except playing them onside. Also, player switching feels awful I can never switch to the person I want to control leading to goals being conceded

Attacking wise it feels like my players are being swallowed even if my opponent is on 60 depth it feels like I have no options so I try and turn and by then I’ve been tackled already. They need to fix Ai runs and positioning so that I actually have an option to pass to in these scenarios.

People say this game is different but this game is only intended for people of ridiculous skill aka sweats as you see on the internet the ones who like it are the ones who go 12 - 15 in champs consistently. I do believe the skill gap should be bigger but not to this extent. This game is not suited for casuals or slightly better players as there’s too much to do at once and it’s just not enjoyable. Overall, this game needs serious work as everything just feels sloppy and boring. People only score with over the top balls or some dodgy goal where their player somehow intercepts it perfectly. They need to fix the positioning of both Ai attacking and defending. But still to the point where it is mainly manual. It’s just boring to play as it is repetitive again. I could go into even more detail but I’ll leave it for now
