Excessive AI transfer activity in manager career mode

I saw someone else mention this in a big feedback thread, but I wanted to call this out specifically. I played through a few weeks of the transfer window and there has been so much transfer activity at other clubs, it feels unrealistic. Lots of big players have been scattered around, many of whom a club would never part with at this stage in real life, like Pau Cubarsí. It feels like there should be a bit more restraint or at least a setting that would allow us to control the frequency of transfer activity.  Has anyone else noticed transfers feeling a bit overactive?
