FC 27 – Improve Dribbling Ratings in Player Career Mode
I would like to suggest an improvement to the player performance rating system in EA SPORTS FC 27 Player Career Mode, particularly regarding dribbling.
During a recent match, I completed 21 out of 22 attempted dribbles, achieving a 95% success rate. I also covered 2.2 km while dribbling and won 9 fouls. On top of that, I scored 1 goal and provided 2 assists. Despite this outstanding performance, my final match rating was only 7.8.
I believe the current rating system does not adequately reward dribbling effectiveness and consistency. A player who consistently beats opponents should receive recognition that reflects their performance, especially when they also contribute directly to goals.
Here are my suggestions for improvement:
- Increase the impact of successful dribbles on the overall match rating.
- Consider both the number of completed dribbles and the success rate, rather than relying on only one statistic.
- Reward difficult dribbles and successful take-ons that create dangerous attacking opportunities.
- Make the final rating more consistent with the player’s statistics and actual contribution to the team’s performance.
- Improve transparency by making it easier to understand which actions increase or decrease the match rating.
I am not asking for the game to award high ratings automatically. I am asking for a more realistic, consistent and merit-based rating system that accurately reflects what happens on the pitch.
Player Career Mode should reward individual skill, creativity and meaningful contributions to the team. A more accurate performance rating system would make the experience more realistic, satisfying and immersive.
I hope this suggestion will be considered for future updates. Thank you for your time and consideration.
