FC 27 Clubs Text Chat

I would like to request that you add back the text chat box that was previously available in Clubs in earlier releases of the game.

It would make communicating with other players on your team so much easier. Currently, there is no way to inform players that you would like them to leave the lobby to change formation or switch positions etc etc. The only way you can do this is by messaging each player individually. This is made even more difficult by players that are on other platforms.

To be more specific, the text chat I am talking about is the box that used to be available when sitting in the Pick Position Lobby when playing Clubs.

    I completely agree with this. The old text chat in the Pro Clubs Pick Position Lobby was such a useful feature and I really don’t understand why it was removed.

    It would make communicating with teammates so much easier, especially now that Clubs is cross-platform. Having to individually message everyone just to organise the lobby is unnecessarily difficult.

    Bringing the lobby text chat back would help with things like:

    • Asking players to leave the lobby so the formation can be changed
    • Asking someone to switch position
    • Letting the team know about tactical changes
    • Organising who is playing where
    • Communicating with cross-platform players without having to add or message them individually

    It would be such a simple quality-of-life improvement and would make Clubs much easier to organise.
