IMPORTANT FIX THIS NOW

Hi. I'm having a serious connection problem specifically in EA SPORTS FC 27 Rivals.

I'm playing on PS5 using a wired Ethernet connection. Before entering a Rivals match, the connection shows around 30–60 ms. However, as soon as the actual match starts, my ping suddenly jumps to 1,000–4,000+ ms and the connection indicators turn yellow/red.

My internet connection is otherwise stable. Other online games work normally, and Squad Battles in FC 27 works normally. Rush also works reasonably well. The problem is primarily happening in Rivals.

This makes Rivals practically unplayable, even though the connection appears normal during matchmaking.

Please investigate whether there is a problem with the Rivals game servers, matchmaking/data-centre assignment, or routing affecting my connection. I have paid for the game and Ultimate Team, and I cannot properly play the main competitive mode because of this issue.
