Subject: FC 27 on Switch 2: 30 FPS is a complete joke and an insult to players.
I am writing this to express my deep anger regarding the Nintendo Switch 2 version of FC 27. Leaving this game locked at 30 FPS on a brand-new console is a complete joke and pure laziness from your dev team.
Stop hiding behind bad technical excuses. We all know the Switch 2 can handle high performance. Games like Hades II run at up to 120 FPS, and massive titles like Mortal Kombat 1 or Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom run at a smooth 60 FPS. Even your own Madden 27 has a 60 FPS performance mode on this exact same machine. This proves you just didn't care enough to optimize FC 27. You chose the lazy route, thinking Nintendo players are just cash cows who will buy anything with a football logo on it.
A football game in 2026 at 30 FPS is unplayable online. The input lag is awful, and ruining the gameplay just to push pixels and dynamic resolution is a terrible decision.
Personally, I also own a PS5 and a Xbox Series X. I usually buy my games across multiple systems, but because of this blatant lack of respect for the community, I will NOT buy FC 27 on PS5 or Xbox Series X either. You just lost a loyal customer who is sick of your corporate greed.
No 60 FPS mode on Switch, no purchase anywhere. Fix your game or enjoy losing players.
