Please let us customize the appearance of our AI teammates in Clubs

Dear EA SPORTS FC team,

I would really like to ask you to reconsider the current limitations on customizing AI teammates in Clubs.

One of the small things that has made Clubs special to me over the years has actually been the ability to customize the players on my team — including their hairstyles and overall appearance.

I have played Clubs for years with friends, and one of the things I genuinely enjoy is recreating my real-life friends as players in our club. Choosing their faces, haircuts, hairstyles and general appearance might seem like a small feature, but it adds a huge amount of personality and fun to the mode.

That is why it is so disappointing that we can no longer freely change the hairstyles of our AI teammates.

I honestly don’t understand why this needs to be restricted.

These are our own AI-controlled teammates in our own Clubs. We are not changing real players, Ultimate Team cards or anything that affects competitive balance. We simply want to make our fictional teammates look the way we want them to look.

For me, this isn’t just about having more cosmetic options. It is about the identity and personality of our Club.

Every year, I have enjoyed going back into Clubs and recreating some of my old friends as players — giving them the haircut that suits them, making them recognizable and making the squad feel like our squad.

That little bit of customization creates memories and makes the mode more personal.

FC 27 has introduced more personalization in several areas, so it feels particularly strange that something as simple as changing the hairstyle of an AI teammate is restricted.

Please open this customization back up.

At the very least, please consider allowing Club owners/managers to freely customize the appearance of their AI teammates, including hairstyles.

It may seem like a minor feature from a development perspective, but for players who have spent years building Clubs with their friends, these small details are a huge part of what makes the mode enjoyable.
