Sky broadband problems. Fixed for FC27?

There’s been an issue since March this year where Sky broadband users have had constant menu freezes and disconnects.EA_Darko​ amongst others acknowledged it earlier in the year but have been silent since.

I want to pre-order FC27 but can’t until we know this issue is being looked into and fixed. 

Has anyone heard anything about a potential fix?
