The game is completely destroyed due to the multiplier penalty
FC 27 DNF Multiplier Is Ruining the Rivals Experience
The new DNF multiplier system is creating a terrible experience in Division Rivals.
Players are now too afraid to quit because leaving a match comes with a massive penalty to their coin multiplier. As a result, instead of playing normally, many opponents simply stop playing, go AFK or use rubber-banding for the remaining 45–60 minutes.
This is not what competitive football should look like.
Previously, when a player was clearly outmatched, they could quit and both players could move on to the next game. Now, we are forced to waste our time in matches where one player has completely stopped playing.
EA has tried to discourage rage quitting, but the current system is encouraging AFK behaviour and making Rivals less enjoyable for everyone.
EA, please reconsider this system.
We need:
- A mutual quit option without DNF penalties.
- Better AFK detection and penalties.
- A much less aggressive DNF multiplier penalty.
- A fair solution that respects both players’ time.
The goal should be to make people enjoy playing football, not force them to sit through 90 minutes of inactive matches just to protect their coin multiplier.
