Turkish Süper Lig – Kit, Font, Sponsor & Player Name/Number Issues
First of all, thank you to the EA SPORTS FC team for continuing to improve the Turkish Süper Lig and for adding the latest kits and details to FC 27.
The Turkish Süper Lig is a licensed league, and many clubs are now using their own custom-designed fonts, updated sponsor placements and specific kit combinations. However, several important details are incorrect in FC 27.
Some of these issues have existed for several seasons, while others appear to have been introduced because incorrect or outdated reference images were used. Most of these are not requests for new content, but corrections to existing licensed team data.
I would therefore like to highlight the following issues for the relevant Data and Kit Design teams.
Galatasaray – Incorrect Kit Font
Galatasaray’s kit fonts have been incorrect in the game for several years, despite the club having a special collaboration/licensing arrangement with EA SPORTS. This season, Galatasaray is using a custom club-specific font on its kits. This font should be accurately implemented in FC 27. The custom font is an important part of the club’s current visual identity, so using the correct font would make the kits significantly more authentic.
Suggested Fix
Please replace the current Galatasaray kit font with the club’s official custom font used during the current season. If, for any reason, the official Galatasaray font cannot be implemented, there are already several fonts available in the FC database that are very close to it. In particular, the Adidas fonts used on the away kits of Argentina, Spain, Belgium and Mexico are visually very similar to Galatasaray’s current font and could be used as an alternative. This would still be a significant improvement over the current font and would provide a much more authentic representation of Galatasaray’s kits.
Beşiktaş – Missing Custom Kit Font
Beşiktaş is also using a custom-designed club font on its kits this season. However, this font is currently missing from FC 27, including the font shown in the latest FC 27 promotional material and gameplay footage. The club’s custom font is an important visual detail and should be represented accurately in the game.
Suggested Fix
Please implement Beşiktaş’s current official custom font. If the exact font cannot be transferred for technical or licensing reasons, an existing font from the FC database with a similar shape and appearance could be used as an alternative. The most important point is that the current generic/incorrect font should be replaced with a font that accurately represents Beşiktaş’s current kit identity.
Göztepe – Multiple Kit Issues
Göztepe currently has several significant kit errors in FC 27. These issues are particularly noticeable because the latest content published by the official Turkish Süper Lig and EA SPORTS FC social media accounts shows Göztepe’s current kits, allowing the in-game versions to be directly compared with the real kits.
Based on this comparison, it appears that some of Göztepe’s kit data may have been taken from incorrect or outdated images on the official Turkish Football Federation (TFF) website. The current in-game kits should be updated to accurately represent Göztepe’s real kits.
Home Kit – Incorrect Back/Sleeve Area and Number Colour, Shorts and Socks
The correct home kit combination is: Yellow/red striped shirt + black shorts + black socks. However, the current in-game combination does not accurately represent the real-life kit. Please update the home kit combination to:
- Yellow/red striped shirt
- Black shorts
- Black socks
The socks in particular appear to have been taken from an incorrect TFF image. They should be solid black.
The back of the Göztepe home shirt is currently represented incorrectly. The game shows the back area as yellow, whereas the actual shirt has a red back panel. Because of this, the player names and numbers should also use the correct colour combination.
Correct Version;
- Back panel: Red
- Player name: Yellow
- Player number: Yellow
This is important not only for visual accuracy but also for ensuring that the player names and numbers are clearly visible.
Incorrect “GÖZTEPE” Text Under Player Name
Another noticeable error is the addition of the word “GÖZTEPE” underneath the player’s name. This can clearly be seen in the recent footage. There is no “GÖZTEPE” team-name text underneath the player names on the actual kits. Please remove the additional “GÖZTEPE” text from underneath the player names. The player name should appear by itself, matching the real-life kit.
Göztepe – Incorrect Undershirt
The undershirt currently displayed underneath the home kit is also incorrect. The game appears to show a yellow/red striped undershirt, matching the design of the shirt. This is not how Göztepe’s kit is worn in real life. The undershirt should be: Solid red. There should not be a yellow/red striped undershirt underneath the home shirt. Please change the undershirt option from the yellow/red striped version to a single-colour red undershirt.
Away Kit
Correct combination: Off-white (light grey) shirt – Off-white (light grey) shorts – Off-white (light grey)
Göztepe – Sponsor Information
The sponsors and their placement should also be accurately represented according to the current Göztepe kits. The current season’s sponsor configuration should be reviewed and updated where necessary so that the correct sponsors, positions and colours are used on both home and away kits. Sponsors
Front (Chest): EUROIL
Upper Back: İLK İNŞAAT
Underarm Side: SOLARES
Right Sleeve: OSMANLI YATIRIM
Left Sleeve: TATİL SEPETİ
Front of Shorts: HDI SİGORTA
Back of Shorts: SARIYER KOLA
Socks: EMOT
Gaziantep FK – Outdated Kits & Incorrect Team Name on Kits
Gaziantep FK’s current kits appear to still use older-season kit designs. The latest kits should be added instead of the outdated versions currently represented in the game. Another recurring issue with Gaziantep FK is the team name appearing on the back of the shirt. As was the case last season, the game displays the team name on the kit, but this does not accurately represent the real-life shirts. The actual Gaziantep FK kits do not have the team name displayed in this position. Please remove the additional team-name text from the back of the Gaziantep FK kits.
The back should contain the appropriate sponsor, player number and player name configuration without an additional team name.
Çorum FK – Incorrect Back-of-Shirt Layout
Çorum FK also has an issue with the positioning and order of the elements on the back of the shirt. The current in-game arrangement does not accurately represent the real-life kit and looks visually unrealistic.
The elements on the back of the shirt should be positioned in the following order:
- Back-of-shirt sponsor
- Player number
- Player name
The sponsor should be positioned above the player number, with the player’s name underneath the number. Please adjust the back-of-shirt layout for Çorum FK to match the real-life configuration: Back sponsor → Player number → Player name
These details may seem relatively small individually, but they make a significant difference to the authenticity of the Turkish Süper Lig in-game. The Turkish Süper Lig has a very passionate fanbase, and accurate kit details such as fonts, sponsors, number colours, back-of-shirt layouts, socks, shorts and undershirts are highly visible to players. I hope the relevant Data and Kit Design teams can review these issues.
Thank you for continuing to support the Turkish Süper Lig and for taking community feedback into consideration.
