Lost Connection to Opponent

I have been disconnected from my opponent for my last 7 or 8 games and it was also happening this weekend but not this extreme. I have good wifi so this shouldn't be happening. Ive lost a ton of progress in rivals. Is there any way I can get this back and resolve the issue? It's extremely annoying.
