PC Rush bug

Whenever I play an ultimate team rush game on PC (the EA App version, not steam) I always encounter this bug in rush where my controller doesnt work in game but works on the menus (when selecting settings etc and on other game modes). It's an issue only affecting rush and as I cant play on keyboard and mouse on PC i cant play rush and get disconnected which gives me a penalty for leaving. I want this bug investigated as it affects me and possibly many others. The controller im connecting is the PS5 controller.
