Hi there. Sorry to hear you're having high ping and lag issues. I wouldn't recommend using a VPN to force a connection to the UK server. A VPN can sometimes make your connection less stable or increase your ping.
For now, please try playing with the VPN completely turned off, then:
• Clear the FC Mobile app cache.
• Restart your device
• Make sure the game and your phone software are fully updated.
• Close other apps running in the background.
• Test a match on Wi-Fi and then on mobile data to compare the ping. Swap between 4G and 5G if possible.
• You can also temporarily lower the graphics settings and test again.
