Q1: Why is the main position bonus set at 20%? Can it be adjusted?
A: The team wanted to have a bonus to the main position bonus to add emphasis towards strategic team-building and encourage player usage diversity as well as placing players in their optimal roles. The goal is to minimize having a best or correct solution for a team line-up, and in support of that direction, we plan to release more players across diverse positions, more formations, more coaches to provide flexibility and minimize the need for having specific S+ players as substitutes. There are currently no plans to adjust the 20% bonus, but it is too early to say we will never adjust it. As FC Tactical is a live service title, our goal is to continue to iterate and adjust when we get enough data and insights to make those decisions.
Q2: Can players use multiple versions of the same Icon player (e.g., 1.0 and 2.0 versions of Gullit) in the same lineup?
A: Due to FC’s licensing and brand guidelines, the same player cannot appear twice in a lineup. On top of the restrictions, we as a team do not think it is a fun and interesting experience to have a line up of 5 Neymars. We understand the concerns of wasted value that users have invested into current existing players and the Tactical team have been actively discussing a solution. The goal is to introduce a system that will resolve both previous invested value as well as providing additional value to low rarity players. We hope to introduce a solution by Version 2.2 however as this change will likely be complicated, it might come in a later release. We will look to share more around this topic once the team has a solution that we are happy with.
Q3: The demand for Evolution Core has increased. Will there be adjustments to availability or cost?
A: Yes, starting in January, more ways to obtain Evolution Core—both free and paid—will be introduced. Additionally, a new token system will allow players to exchange tokens for Evolution Core and other useful items, making progression more accessible.
Q4: Can rank rewards and free-to-play progression be improved?
A: There are discussions to revamp rank in bigger ways for Version 2.2. The details of the changes are still being finalized on how we plan to approach it however we think it will provide a better experience overall, both for the rewards that are given and the format
Q5: How long does it take to achieve a full team of 7★ players?
A: The pace of achieving a team of 7★ Players (11 players) depends on each person’s playstyle. The team’s goal is to ensure there is always a sense of progression that feels good regardless of the type of investment you put in.
Q6: Will attribute advantage and command bonuses be adjusted?
A: With the release of v2.0.0, the attribute advantage and command bonus have been balanced based on feedback and data to ensure fair gameplay. We will continue to balance and tune as needed as well as explore other ways to add more depth and strategic options.
