Unable to connect to EA on fifa 23

I have played ultimate team on PlayStation from fifa 17 onwards and while I understand they get shut down after years, fifa 23 is not shutting down until December ‘25 and yet I cannot log in to play ultimate team! It just displays the message ‘You lost your connection to the EA servers. Sign back in to access online features. see ea.com/unable- to-connect’. I have tried all the suggestions and nothing works. All other games and connections work but I cannot play online on Fifa23!
