2 Jack o Lantern cards for 1 pack ?

This is not what the tile said. It said redeem these for past program packs and I am reading on GG it is a mystery pack. A Star Elite pack is not a past program pack, let alone it taking 2 when the tile never said this either.

Is this a glitch or basically did I literally waste my treats on these jack o lanterns when I could have just selected and auctioned off an 87 and got 2 MF packs in the treat store ?

If this was intended, then this company is doing everything possible to aggravate us. My kid is still waiting for his points and it has been 2.5 months, yet any glitch that benefits the player is fixed in 30 minutes.
