Bump and Bump! As mentioned on another of your posts the people running Madden appear to have never played football and apparently don't even ask advice of people that have.
Also I'd say they could add in adjustments to man coverage. If my SS is in Man coverage against TE Travis Kelce why does the idiot give him a 12 yard cushion? Additionally AWR rating could be used to determine if your defensive player abandons his zone to help cover elsewhere. A right side Flat zone coverage can be abandoned when all potential receivers have went deep and to the left side. Your DB should shade over and drop back, possibly rush the QB.... act like a real player.
