In Depth Suggestions for Creation and Presentation

I am truly disappointed with this year's release of Madden. A promised "make or break" game has fallen way short yet again... Other sports games are miles ahead of Madden in all aspects of creation and presentation. Improving on these features would add a level of immersion and authenticity that is so desperately needed to bring life to this game. We have been given the same generic face scans, same recycled presentations. Franchise mode lacks any depth as well as superstar mode. 

For starters, the character creation equipment menu is very messy and unorganized. Equipment should be sorted by brand/color like previous versions of Madden. THE BIGGEST ISSUE with the new "sapien technology" player models are the pants. Players do NOT wear pads over their knees anymore and this should of been fixed with the new player models.

Equipment

• Being able to pick home/away equipment (colors, gear, etc)
• Cold weather gear
  • Why was the sleeve temp option taken away? This kills the immersion even more.
  • Add neck scarves, hoods, etc
  • Hand warmer thats built into the jersey (ex Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen)
  • Face coverings (ex Ja'Marr Chase)
• Being able to put turf tape/sleeve on one arm (ex Desmond Ridder)
• Being able to wear multiple sleeves on one arm (ex Patrick Mahomes)
• Being able to wear multiple arm bands on one arm (ex Jamal Adams)
• Add turtlenecks (ex Justin Fields, Jalen Hurts, Patrick Mahomes)
• Add neck band gear and Q-collar (ex Jamal Adams, Jevon Holland, Tony Pollard)
• Add scrunch socks
• Add mouth guards that attach to helmet/hang off face mask
• Add more mouth guard/chin strap options
• Add rolled shooter sleeves
• Add 3/4 sleeves (ex Brock Purdy)
• Add knee braces over and underneath the socks (ex Mac Jones)
• Add shoulder braces
• Add ankle braces
• More color options for gloves, cleats, etc.
• Add padded arm sleeves (ex Justin Jefferson and Stefon Diggs)
• Add custom thigh pads that players have been wearing with their numbers and team logos (ex Jaylen Waddle)
• Add colored visors (ex Stefon Diggs)
• Add a variety of head bands to equip on players
• Add wrist bracelets

Character Creation

• THE MOST IMPORTANT... GET RID OF THE GENERIC FACES AND GIVE US A FACE EDITOR LIKE EVERY OTHER SPORTS GAME! HAVING THE SAME RECYCLED FACE SCANS FOR EASILY 5+ YEARS IS RIDICULOUS. Every other EA Sports title/major sports game has a face editor of some sort (Madden only gives you a very minimal face editor for superstar mode that has also been used for years. Many of the generic faces do not match what is on the picture, many of the faces are the exact same, many of them do not fit in helmets properly, and MANY of them are extremely messy looking. (This would be amazing in draft classes but the face editor was taken out of the beta for some reason?)
• ADD TATTOOS!
  • EA FC added in tattoos that you see on many real-life players and the option to add them to your created player. The same applies to NBA2K which has a very extensive selection for tattoos to add to created players.
• Add more facial features (eyes, nose, mouth etc)
• Add more hair/facial hair options
• Custom run animations, pass animations, celebration animations, pre/post game animations for created players (ex NHL, EA FC, NBA2K, MLB The Show)

Visual/Presentation (MANY of these were in previous version of Madden years ago, and many are features that are in games like EA FC, NHL, NBA2K)

• Updated pregame animations
  • Players engaging with reporters and fans (signing autographs, interviews, etc
  • Players walking in/out of tunnel
  • Players getting off plane/bus
  • Pregame warm ups (would be cool to be playable like NBA2K)
  • Show players coming out of the locker room, getting ready in the locker room
• BETTER HALFTIME
  • Show players in locker room
  • League highlights
• Update postgame animations
  • Again engaging with fans and reporters
  • Players doing jersey swaps
• Make the weather conditions feel lively
  • Snow is by far the most disappointing. Bring back the heavy snow!
• UPDATE THE DRAFT IN FRANCHISE

• MAKE THE PLAYOFFS FEEL DIFFERENT THAN PRESEASON AND REGULAR SEASON GAMES
  • Add NFC/AFC championship celebration and trophy presentation
  • MAKE THE SUPER BOWL worth the grind...
    • We have had the same presentation for years...
    • Have players wearing Super Bowl gear after winning
    • Longer overall celebration
    • A REAL HALFTIME SHOW
    • Have a banner celebration the next season (ex NBA2K)
    • Have players take off their helmets
  • Make stadiums feel authentic
    • BRING BACK CROWD CELEBRATIONS
    • Have fans leave during blowouts, bad records etc
    • Add mascots
    • Bring authenticity to each stadium
      • 12TH man waving flag, Patriots rining bell outside lighthouse and shooting the muskets after a TD, Vikings blowing the horn, etc
    • Bring back the fans that would dress up with face paint etc.
• AUTHENTIC SIDELINES
  • Another year of having generic and distorted player models on the sidelines...
  • Add assistant coaches and coordinators
  • Add medical tent/staff 
    • Injury animations need a complete refresh
  • Have players take off their helmets
  • Have players wearing hats, cape coats, etc.

I understand that the presentation probably cannot be dramatically changed this year but improving on the character creation could GREATLY improve on the overall experience.
