Key suggestions to improve the game!

QB - Throwing speeds need to be increased more and ball trajectory arc needs to be improved. Certain throws I try to make I cannot make especially without Gunslinger (speed wise). I throw a 30 yard post downfield to a WR and it gets picked off by a safety 10 yards from the line of scrimmage. This could never happen if the arc pass trajectory was correct. Add another X-Factor trait where the QB can tell the o-line exactly the player he needs to block and the o-line blocks that player. Call the trait X-factor QB Highlight. The trait should work with high awareness QB's like Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Drew Brees etc. 95 overall, 95 awareness only!

O-line - blocking needs to be greatly improved. When my o-line gets beat he needs to follow his assignment and continue to keep trying to block him. In real life that happens and u can still avoid the sack. IQ of the o-line needs to be improved. I have 85-90 plus awareness on all my o-line and too many times they have no clue who to block. Even when I ID the mic and everything. 

DB - psychic DB is as bad as ever. In this game the CB react to the QB with his back turned instead of the WR. If his back is turned to the QB he shouldn't know the ball has even been thrown or the QB is running the ball. 

D-line - Get rid of d-line shedding blocks as soon as the turbo button is pressed. I have huge running lanes to run with my QB and as soon as that button is pressed the d-line sheds the block immediately. Even if he is double teamed he ends up beating the block and making the play even though he shouldn't

Tip offs in the game - Get rid of them completely. When my CB is in outside or inside shade he shouldn't move to that side so the offense can tell exactly what he is doing. Or when the QB hot routes a WR every time the WR raises his hand and tips the defense off. That does not happen in real life. 

WR - better route running and sharper faster more crisp cuts on routes that create more separation. WR with high awareness move to better spots on the field when the play breaks down. More routes added to hot route master and in the game in general, like option routes, out & ups (from WR near the side lines not just slot WR), curl & go etc. Double move routes need to work better and be more effective 

Safeties should be getting destroyed even worse than they do when playing LB. They should be getting pancaked and pushed 20 yards downfield against the run & pass. They should be so ineffective at LB that users will be forced to sub them back out to safety. Can u imagine what would happen in real life if the Buffalo Bills said they are gonna substitute safeties Micah Hyde & Jordan Poyer at linebacker!!!!

Players need an adjustment to the way they break on balls and change direction. Defensive users shouldn't be able to run all over the field effecting multiple routes. Running side to side at full speed and changing direction they need to come to a complete stop. Then when out of the break the first 2 steps should be slower until they pick up full speed depending on there acceleration ratings.

    1. His point is Madden needs a complete overhaul. Gameplay is really bad right now. I've played Madden for 22 years. This one's not good at all. 
  • Yeah I jus like the game alot buy it  first day mist years so I think it's really unfair that ppl come in buy the game cheaper and on game pass some time and get to be able to have stuff so fast it like you guys need to step up rewards or make it worth our while to buy day one then get that as thanks imo it shady at best bad to ppl paying u more money so think about that aspect 

  • I agree with most of the takes, except the ones about defensive users should come to a complete stop when changing directions. I disagree with that fundamentally as that just makes everything open no matter what, there needs to be tighter coverage, but WAY less INTs from those 1 on 1 situations, while have a significant uptick in double and triple coverage. 

    about the ball trajectory, this mainly affects the deep ball, but also is affected in the intermediate area 15+ yds. The ball should travel higher in general when thrown that far. And one last thing PLEASE HAVE THE REFS CALL PASS INTERFERENCE on Competitive game mode (it happens WAY more often than it gets called and usually the most blatant ones get missed and the pettier ones get called). That goes for both offenses and defensive PI.
