Kickoff - kicking meter blocked

Same here bro, I'm on XBOX X SERIES and the kick meter was blocked the whole game as well.. smh

All week, anytime I try to play online, whether kicking a FG or Kick off, the meter is blocked by the kicking options!

Makes it basically a shot in the dark whether you convert it or kick it straight out of play. It's making the game unplayable, especially on All-Madden (Champions, H2H)

Is there a way to turn the kicking options off? Or are EA planning on fixing this issue any time soon? Seen so many comments about it on Reddit and some of them are two weeks old...

There is no excuse for this blocking of kicking meter- lost three games because of this garbage. Stop making stupid kiddy games for Halloween and concentrate in keeping game playable. ALSO YOUR GIVE AWAYS ARE ALL GARBAGE-change your name to all greed instead of madden!

EA sports has failed consumers who pay good money for substandard product. Madden 24 updates have created a blocked kicking meter. Not just once, but now twice.  Update 1.06 resulted in a covered meter. Weeks later after multiple games of frustration,  EA fixed thru update 1.07. Now update 1.08 resulted in the blocked meter AGAIN. Refund for bad results? NOT. Assistance?  Not available.  This is one of the most popular games and EA can't provide a fix? Can't provide assistance. But no problems collecting hard earned money from those who simply want to play and have fun. Sad.

How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play a game on H2H and you'll see - doesn't happen with every kickoff for me - but once it happens once in a game, it happens every time after that.
What happens when the bug occurs? Kicking meter is completely covered by kickoff selector type (squib, sky, normal). Cannot see meter when it moves.
What do you expect to see? The kickoff selector pop up to the left or right of screen and not on top of the kicking meter

Kickoff Meter Bug is back. 

Newest update (11.2.2023) has brought back the bug where the kick meter is covered by the kick type selection. This was an issue - then it was fixed - and now it's back. 

Does QA review the code and perform regression testing? 

Odd that a bug that was fixed slipped through QA and is back. 

This is a bug that wins/loses games - needs an emergency patch - please don't make us wait 3 weeks again with this bug. Takes the kicking game out of play - can't rely on game winning field goals (or extra points) and results in a lot of kickoffs going out of bounds - giving great field position to opponent.

I'm so sick and tired of wasting time writing up full big reports only to have things ignored. Obviously EA is aware this is an issue, seriously impacting gameplay scenarios. If there was a bug in the Shop, you know the servers would be brought down same-day to ensure none of us would profit. This is all so very unfortunate.

Why does EA not fix issues that people bring to their attention?  Online play is getting worse with lag issues, and now a glitch when an opponent pauses the game, and play resumes your kick meter is blocked by the box because its moved to the middle of the screen right over top.  Why is this happening?  I have posted on their facebook page with a picture to prove and nothing is done or no response.  Can someone please explain why this is happening and what to do to prevent it.
