Madden ultimate 2024 issues

When I go to Play a friend on Madden ultimate team and select squad pad, it doesn't allow me to lock my best lineup. It removes some of my 99 OVR players and other players and drops my overall by 4. I want to run 2v2 with my friends but this issue prevents me from playing.

Also before the update when I generated best lineup and pressed B to go back to the ready up screen on Squads PAF, an error code would appear saying several strategy items were locked and not playable.
