My madden 24 hasnt worked since i bought it and now i cant get a refund

I cant refund my madden 24 even tho it hasnt worked since i bought it

  • That isn't true. The game has a 90 Warranty

    On your website it states:

    We warrant to the original purchaser of an EA product that the product is free from defects in both materials and workmanship for 90 days from the day you bought it.

    If the product is found to be defective within those 90 days, please return it to the original retailer together with proof of purchase. 

    Here is the problem, the Playstation store only guarantees the game is able to be properly downloaded, so they said I must go through the game developer for a refund.

    Now I would say that given the state of this game "defects in workmanship" would apply to the 90 warranty. 

     
     
  • Also, when trying to chat with a representative regarding a refund, the steps you need to take are non-existent as option 6 is not there. Why? You are making it impossible to get a refund within 90 days.

    If you believe you’re entitled to a refund from EA, contact us before submitting a chargeback:

    1. On the EA Help homepage, enter the title of your game into the search bar.
    2. Choose the game you need help with from the search results.
    3. Choose See all help topics.
    4. Choose the Orders category.
    5. Choose I want a refund.
    6. Choose the available option to connect with an EA Advisor.

    To prevent fraud, we automatically lock any account where a chargeback is requested.

    If your account is locked due to suspected fraud, we’ll send you an email with more information, including how to contact us if you think your account has been locked by mistake.
