when i leveled up from level 50 to 52 l got no skill points to use.

I am having trouble with superstar mode in Madden 24. When i leveled up from level 50 to 52 l got no skill points to use. It even prompted the message saying that I had skill points available but when i tried to used them it said i had 0. 

No error message. I just don't get any skill points whenever I level up. It says you have available skill points. Do you want to use them? When i say yes it leads me to the upgrade screen but it says I have 0 skill points available. 

the troubleshooting advice told me to close the game, I did. It also told me to clear my ps5 cache, which i also did with no success
