Wrong rb used on 3rd down

I like using 2 RBs in my backfield (one as my primary guy and one as the pass catcher change of pace guy) unless the have someone like a cmc. In madden 20-22 I didn’t have any issues I could have let’s say Derrick Henry as my main rb and James white as my 3drb and Henry would do his thing and white would get most of the receptions. But now In madden 24 for whatever reason it doesn’t matter who I have as my 3drb but most of the passes go to my rb1 instead which is what I don’t want. Not that my 3drb needs to have be ekeler with 80 rec on the year but like why have the position on the depth chart if it’s not gonna be utilized as it should
