After some experimentation I can tell it is using you rush left/right ends at lb on 3-4. So if you make your rush ends you outside backers you can fix this at the expense of not having your rush ends in other formations
Also Nose tackle and Right end are both pulling from the DT depth chart. So your RE is DT 1 and NT is DT 2. You will have to make your DT 2 your starting RE for other formations. Sigh.
Odd it doesn't affect the ai teams
