Lag while playing online
Madden 25 is unbearably laggy in online play for me. My internet is very fast in speed tests and my ps5 shows me excellent connection strength. I have no other issues with other online games or streaming just madden H2H online is so glitchy i can play it. I’ve tried turning off 120hz frame rate mode and I’ve tried changing visual settings but nothing else works. Please help! Thanks
Disconnects and lag are to be expected over a wireless connection. Especially when the router is 2 rooms away. Check the wireless connection you have and make sure it's using a 5g connection instead of 2.4g. That may help some. Also, you can try putting your console on its own wireless channel through the router settings. A good solution would be to get a powerline adaptor. You can do a web search for more information on those. I use a couple of them in my home without any issues.
Every game is different. Our sports games need a stable connection to help minimize lag and disconnects. Wireless connections are susceptible to interference and don't work well for gaming when walls and floors are in the way.
