Hello all, I was having the same problem and found a fix that works for me. I am using a PS5 controller on Steam/PC:1) In your steam library, right click Madden 25 and go to manage and go to controller settings2) Click "Disable Steam Input" in the top right.That worked for me, hopefully it does for some of you.

There is for sure a bug with the controller and steam....once steam is closed out completely the issue goes away. Its not a steam problem its a game problem as no other EA game behaves this way, i reported the issue just after launch as this is exactly the issue. Hopefully it gets patched soon.

@nike23osu it does not go away for me if i close steam it never not recognizes 2 it is a game problem otherwise other games would do the same thing. read my post

Your posting what I and others have been saying, I reported the issue within the first 10 mins of launch. You are the only one I have seen across steam, here, and Reddit that the issue doesn’t resolve itself with steam input or steam disabled. Unless you have a steering wheel or flight stick also plugged in which can cause that as well in other games.
Also please before you tell me to read please read yourself, I said it was NOT a steam or controller issue and that it was a confirmed game bug if you had looked in technical issues you would have seen the thread created there and the confirmation of this issue by the reps 🤷🏻‍♂️

Okay, your issue is what everyone else is experiencing. The work around on steam and what I said here (exit out of steam completely before launching the game, or disable steam input) has worked for every single thread I have seen elsewhere….im sorry it don’t for you for some reason. I also posted so you knew it has been passed along to the team for a fix.
I’m confused why so many people post a thread then get touchy when it’s replied to are pretty cynical of the reply….either way have a good day and hope we all don’t have to wait to long for the fix to come 😊

What total trash this franchise has become, I load up the game and non of the inputs are working. Game is unplayable currently, waste of money.....
