Franchise mode draft clock setting doesn't actually stop the clock

In online private franchise mode, the setting to turn off the draft clock does not actually turn off the clock. It stops the countdown from displaying, but the game still selects a player for you if you do not make a selection in the time allocated (1m:30s default).

If you hit the pause button, the clock does actually pause and the game does not select a player for you. But in the mode settings during intial setup if the franchise (where you pick starting point, coach,etc.), there is an option to turn off the pick clock. That setting only stops the visible countdown, it does not stop the game from selecting a player when that same time runs out.
