Franchise mode (in season goals)

So, during the week 8 bye I was given a goal to have on average of 3 catches per game by my RB. So basically 51 catches in the season to complete the goal. So, I get to week 18 and it says I missed the goal and now my players lose trust in the coach. The game is still stuck in a week 17 season. I never got to play week 18 to complete the goal. I like the idea of having the goals but, EA has no idea how to get it right. Nice job EA!! Fix the goals or just get rid of them, (Without messing something else up)
