Team logos on scorebug

Since EA apparently doesn't consider it a bug, I guess I'll start a thread here.

In Franchise and Superstar, the home team's logo (whether it's user-controlled or cpu-controlled) is replaced by the user's Team Pass logo, which for a lot of us is the NFL shield. This started with the patch released on February 19.

For these - primarily offline - modes, there's simply no reason to replace a team logo with a Team Pass logo. It ruins the immersion. And, to be quite frank, it's just dumb.

Several threads were created in the Bugs section of the forum. But EA has declared it "not a bug" and said it was intentional. How or why anybody would think this is a good idea baffles me.

The workaround is to take our consoles offline when we play Madden, but we shouldn't have to do this. Please, please please fix this ASAP. There's simply no reason to bring UT stuff into Franchise and Superstar modes.

Thanks.

EA is so cowardly that it still has the courage to say that this is not a bug, this is a ridiculous bug in fact, if it continues like this I won't buy the game anymore, discouraging.

  • So the new season started and the first thing that pops up when you load the game is the stupid Team Pass. No way to opt out.

I quit without going any further, but I'm going to assume the Team Pass logo still shows up in the scorebug. So so so stupid.

If you're going to refuse to acknowledge the bug, then let us opt out of Team Pass so we can have the real logos in our offline modes.

  • i like how they force us to use forums instead of dealing with **bleep** head on like normal people

  • EA isn't even trying to hide its disdain for the non-MUT players now.
