Cannot use the most recent roster updates when starting a new Franchise. It’s the only roster I’ve got saved on my device and players have correct Xfactor and SS abilities when I go into edit roster, but those do not carry over when starting a new franchise. I’ve re-installed, cleared cache files, no luck. I know of at least 5 users who have been dealing with these issues for some time now. EA_Shepard
EA_Shepard same issue with today’s update! Multiple users reporting the update Xfactor and superstar traits aren’t carrying over when starting a new franchise, overall’s updated, not traits.
EA_Shepard I deleted everything and re-downloaded the game…again….still not fixed. This isn’t an issue with my device, users have been reporting this across all platforms for months now. When you start a new franchise all player overalls are correct and current, but the Xfactor and superstar traits are not…Gonzalez 91 superstar in update and on my saved roster, 91 star when you start a franchise. Derek Stingley 93 overall xfactor in update and on my saved roster, 93 overall star in franchise. The updated player traits aren’t carrying over to franchise, just the updated overalls…..

Community ManagerOD3412 Hey, sorry about this one. Not sure why I never got updated on this one. Can you try this for me? That error means that your roster is not actually updating the way it should, so it's like saving a file on a PC you already own, but it loops over and over when it should just replace them.
From the main menu
Go to the creation center
Load/delete files > All
Delete all files except franchise/Team Builder (if this applies)
You want to get rid of roster files, too. It is a pain to redownload them all, I know.
Essentially, you want to get rid of everything the game and yourself will download when you launch the game.

EA_ShepardThanks for reaching out. I've added some screenshots for context. No issue with the roster download itself, when I go to edit roster or play an online exhibition I've got the most up to date roster. The issue is we cannot use these latest rosters in franchise mode. In the screenshots below you'll see Christian Gonzales for instance has the Superstar ability in the most recent roster update, but when starting a new franchise the game is not defaulting to the most recent rosters (Patriots showing no Superstars on the choose team page when starting a franchise, Gonzales was showing as a Superstar on the edit roster page from the home screen). I've had friends try and they run into the same problem. I am on Xbox but I have seen posts about this same issue stretching across all platforms. Thanks again for your help.
Community ManagerOD3412 Wanted to follow up on this one. When you try to download the roster update what happens? If you get an error can you attach a screenshot of that error?
