Character Creation Overhaul
Character creation NEEDS to be completely revamped. While you cannot create players (unfortunately) in CFB25, the customization is miles ahead of Madden. CFB brought in thousands of new and refreshed generic faces that are up to par with next gen... Madden however, has recycled the same generic faces for a decade. The are outdated, not up to par with next gen, many dont fit properly in helmets, hair is awful. Madden 25 even got worse because instead of updating hairstyles, or adding the CFB faces they added caps to cover the hair on almost all the generic faces. This has made making players and draft classes seem repetitive and underwhelming. Part of making a franchise and going through many many years is drafting new players and after a while they all look the same. This kills authenticity and immersion.
Tattoo's NEED to be added into the game. Not just for superstar but for ALL created players.
There are MANY equipment options missing from the game that are either new in the NFL or have been in the NFL for years. Killing authenticity for created and real players. Part of the Madden experience is having an authentic and real life experience. When real players are missing their tattoos, aren't wearing their normal equipment and so on this also ruins the authenticity.
In recent years Madden has gone 1 step forward and 100 steps back as far as character creation goes. Taking away features instead of adding. If Madden could do what NBA2k does with their VERY in depth customization this would massively improve the game, make franchises worth playing for many seasons, and bring life back to a game mode that has LACKED for a decade. Each and every year this NEVER gets addressed. I have created MANY posts about what is missing, how to impove as well as many other community members and nothing changes. It's extremely disappointing. Franchise is the only mode I play and I have 0 desire to play Ultimate Team. It's a shame to see all their focus go to Ultimate Team and not the real NFL experience.
