@GrizzGolfYou must be getting a defense coached by me... I always play RE on snap, and if the opposing QB (solo, don't really mess with H2H) starts mechanics to pass the ball, I _B_ on X-Box Series X to swap to the closest defender, I am usually trailing behind the intended receiver and I can usually leap up and snag INTs. I've had to train myself to manufacture INTs since EA Devs have been assigning a LOT of "Get xx INTs" on dailies this few weeks.
Practice undercutting a pass on Defense and maybe it will give you an idea of what the CPU defense is seeing and alter your pass. If lobs get picked off like wounded ducks, use a bullet pass, or vice versa.
I'm not sure if M25 still has the buttons that allowed you to (button) throw low or (button) throw high - forget the button but you could literally throw a low pass to a receiver and I think you just have to briefly tap the receiver button to lob one high still, but there was also a directed high pass in previous years. Maybe if you look at the keyboard assignments and experiment with the mechanics, you can have better results.
That being said, the better quality receivers that will be released in upcoming content may very well fix the problem, you'd be surprised at how a +1 at speed (or even +1 on short/medium) can make a difference, versus tighter throwing windows.
