Left Tackles are over-setting in pass pro different than right tackles

It's pretty consistent.

Left Tackles are setting too far deep in part pro on plays that call for 3 and 5 step drops. As if they're setting for a 7 step drops.

What makes it stand out even more, is that right tackles and the rest of the o line  seem to marry their setup with the QB drop, so the left tackle over set stands out like a sore thumb.

The problem is that is outlier results in "gate wide open" pass pro allowing the rusher to be able to go inside pretty much untouched.

And no, it doesn't matter what the rating of your left tackle is. It could be Trent Williams (99 rated) or the lowest rated tackle in the game. This issue is across the board.

Bottom line, all o lineman need to be taking the same depth of pass pro drop, to set up a true "U" pocket.

Just go into practice mode...it'll stand out immediately when you look for it.
