Madden 25 Disapointment

I will express similar frustrations but for a different reason:

First, with the development of College Football, it has become clear that the company is at best splitting its efforts between the two programs.  One need only compare the frequency of updates compared with previous seasons.

However, I don't care about snazzy new features.  I simply want the program to do what it is supposed to do:  Simulate the NFL.  Be that the game, or for me, franchise mode.

Spend a year and just get things to work right.  Defenses that actually play defense.  DB's who make plays on the ball.  DB's who don't simply sit around and defend empty space in zone coverage.  Gameplay sliders that actually impact how the game is played so as to be able to fine tune it.  (That last one would solve just about every other problem.)

Particularly for me in Franchise Mode, the most important part of being a GM is non-existent.  The ability to deal with contracts is negligible.  I want to lock up a young player early.  (Consistent with league rules.)  Can't do that (unless you want to edit the player's salary.)  Want an overpaid veteran to renegotiate his contract?  Happens all the time in the NFL, can't do it in Madden.  Want to create a contract with a star with a specific cap hit each year to keep a team together?  Can't do it.  Salary drama?  Happens all the time in the NFL, not in Madden (because there is no mechanism to do that.)  Coaches/owners should be able to create contracts according to league rules and have the player accept or reject them.  This is actually incredibly simple math compared with the game3 physics.  "Hmm.  I am the #1 WR.  I should want a guaranteed NPV slight above the current #1 WR."  

Above all, fix the basic, stupid stuff.  LIKE HAVING PUNT RETURNERS ON THE PRO BOWL TEAMS WHO DID NOT APPEAR IN A SINGLE GAME!  Come on, throw me a bone!  

I will gladly buy Madden 26 if it just does the job correctly.  Simulate the actual, real, NFL.  Stop the gimmicks.  Just get it to work properly.  

How about fixing the body mods. Still have fat calves on skinny players and fat oline with chicken legs.
