Madden 25 Incorrect Playbook H2H quick play

Question

When I play a madden 25 H2H quick play match the game does not load with the correct offensive or defensive playbook. It loads with the offensive and defensive playbooks for the team that I set as my favorite team which is the Rams.

I’ve changed the playbooks in both my general settings and the advanced settings right before you search for a game but it still gives me the Rams playbooks. I’m not trying to use custom playbooks, I’m just trying to use different teams playbooks. I’ve had this issue in past maddens but going into your settings and updating the default playbooks fixed it but not this year.

Any help on how to fix this issue would be appreciated. It’s ruining online play for me at the moment.

@jmurray121589 If you played a previous game online with some other team and jump to a new team right away make sure you go into the options let it load for a few seconds and make sure it shows the current team playbook click save and then go back into the screen to make sure the changes saved I usually also change the time of day to make sure the settings are saving , if you do it too fast it will use the previous or your favorite team play-book like you mentioned.

I had (have) the same problem, only my online playbooks defaults to Arizona. lol (Never set them as a favorite team). Did anyone figure this out for you? Do you have the problem in Madden 26 exhibition play?
