Madden 25

I have been playing Madden for years , and now online play it seems that your skill doesn't win you games, it's the team you pick wins you games. When I play My 7 year old cousin he picks the best teams on the game and for the most part just pushes any button and wins the game. The offense of the team he is using isn't good but the defense of the team he is playing with stops any thing that I do until his offense scores or the defense catches a pick 6 and wins! What kind of realism is that?
