@KsiZzler00This year online h2h lost custom playbooks, the ability to see your online record, changing uniforms, and saving depth chart changes. How did the mode that gets the least attention lose all these features? I've had the game for a week now and still haven't played a single game. What a waste. I wish they'd atleast tell us if they're working on any of these for the next patch update. If not, the game may be months in before they add them in. I guess when it's a mode that doesn't have micro transactions this is what we can expect.
@Pankratz02 It’s the only mode I play, I’ve never opened UT even just out of curiosity. The rank tier thing is honestly laughable if you ever check it out. It is an exact copy of Warzone’s ranked play scheme down to the colors for each tier.
I would have to assume there will be a fix on custom playbooks because right after the game was launched and I created a playbook it was at least a selection when I went to online play however yesterday I noticed that I couldn’t even select it anymore. I was reading somewhere that there was a particular number to the formations and plays allowed so I edited the one I made previously to see if it would work when I noticed this. Although If I can’t see my record in my ranking I honestly don’t even care that much about the playbooks. I was within top 100 in madden 23 and 400ish in madden 24 so this is kind of a dealbreaker for me.
Let’s talk about dynamic difficulty adjustment in online H2H gameplay on Madden 25. EA Sports denies that it exist, but there is overwhelming evidence that this corporation is lying to consumers on this and several other topics. I have decided that I will no longer purchase Madden going forward. I’ll holdout for the end of their exclusivity contract with the NFL to expire and perhaps we will have NFL 2K again. Otherwise after this year I will never play an NFL video game. That’s how bad Madden 25 is.
