MUST READ: major gameplay breakthrough
I'm gonna keep it short and sweet. All-Madden. Simulation. We hate it for all the reasons we know when it comes to the AI. I've complained every year for the last 15 years about this All-Madden gameplay and how the actual gameplay sliders (user/cpu) don't work on All-Madden. Turns out even those weren't working to their potential, and definitely didn't fix the issue of drops on contact, offensive linemen not being braindead, screens being useless, superhuman DBs, throws over the middle always being swatted by linebackers, and predetermined and repetitive outcomes.
Someone at EA needs to see this given how they ship the game out the box. For over a decade we've been saying "add more animations to fix the warping, dumb linemen, etc.", particularly against the AI on All-Madden. What I discovered yesterday is they've been listening....the ENTIRE time. Speed Parity Scale and Fatigue are - these two at 50 is the culprit. That's it. That's the problem. Put the speed parity scale at 100 (no questions, asked). Put fatigue at 85 (this slows the game down over time after the first couple drives; formation subs make this super realistic ttoo). All-Madden. Simulation Mode. We can talk about gameplay and penalty sliders later (those matter because of All-Madden). But do it now. Come back to this thread and give feedback because it is important! We can talk specifics once you see this game in motion as it was intended. I'm seeing things I've never seen before in any Madden game.
