Online Co-Op in Madden

Really hoping to get some solid dialogue going on this. For YEARS there has been a complete lack of online Co-Op in the Madden series. Want to play solo? No problem. Want to play H2H? No problem. Want to play with friends in online PvP? No problem. Want to play offline couch play co-op? No problem. Want to play online Co-Op against the CPU? Not possible. Why is this? Some of us love playing Madden but cannot stand playing against other people (the skill gap is bonkers). All my friends and I have wanted for years now is the ability to play a season/franchise online, on the same team, and try to win the Lombardi. It doesn't seem like it would be that difficult to do, yet EA just doesn't try and I'd really like to understand why. On top of that, the only way you can play online Co-Op currently is via MUT Challenges, which of course also happen to be broken. You can't call any plays on offense that are in the shotgun or pistol, and if you do then whoever the QB is literally gets removed from the play, abruptly switching the QB to your friend right after the snap and leaving him to fend for himself. Can we please get some answers on these issues?
