Opponent left the Tournament

Just got done playing a full tournament and went into the finals excited to play for free MUT points. The opponent joins the lobby and guess what... both of us get stuck on the ready screen now my tournament is a waiting game. I sat in front of my screen the whole time monitoring the game to see if we would load in. Then out of the blue, it says the opponent left the match, which should mean I won the tournament right? Wrong. I looked at the bracket and was greeted with 2nd place. Can I please get a fix for this EA? The tournament glitched out and gave it to the losing player.  My PSN is welcome_2_DQ
