Another Thing that I feel should be looked at is a position overhaul for LE, RE, LOLB, ROLB and DT
I suggest getting rid of RE/LE or just switching them to mean Right Edge, Left Edge and DT being switched to Interior D Line (IDL), And adding another position - Nose Tackle (NT) because a 3-4 DE is a different player type and position than and 3-4 Nose Tackle similar to how a 3-4 DE is a much different player type/position than a 4-3 DE (EDGE) vs (IDL) This would be a great update because I See edge rushers being put as stand up outside linebackers Constantly and vice versa stand up OLB’s being put as edges due to there listed position Depending on The defense scheme the team they are on runs like
4-3 or 3-4 Also I am seeing Nose Tackle types Coming off the edge because they are good pass rushers just a suggestion this would be a huge change for someone like me who cares about that stuff when playing franchise
I absolutely agree its very frustrating. I wish they would fix it or add a formation selection that puts them in the correct position based on the defensive formation selected. Give us something.
