Ea illium I think it would also be cool for historic teams to be playable online as some sort of award for grinding where you earn the worst classic teams first and the best classic teams last and then move to all time teams and make it worst all time teams be awarded first and the best all time teams be at the final tier of grinding in some sort of ranked mode.

you could have tier 1 2 and 3 and make it where we can choose what tier we want to matchup against like ea college football. This is my most requested feature for years and ive seen some big youtubers like mmg also suggest this so I think it would be a hit for this to return after a long hiatus.

I think it's a long shot, but I thought I'd try to reach out and give suggestions on how you can make Madden a better game. 

1 - - -

You guys should incorporate more -bunch defensive checks- in the game like they do in real life. I've made videos on this.

All you guys have is the box check when playing quarters. The reason why bunch is so overly used in today's game, is because you don't give the defense the tools to deal with it, like in real life. Whenever you run into an issue {why is bunch offenses so overpowered}, instead of weakening the defense via coding, you should ask yourself : {What do Nfl defenses do against Bunch}. Find that answer, and put it into the game.

From a single High defense like cover 1 : they will run a check called traffic. Where one defender locks on the point man in the bunch : and the other 2 defenders will play an IN and OUT coverage on the remaining 2 receivers. Find the strengths and weaknesses of this coverage, and make sure it works in the game.

Pentagon is a defensive bunch check.
Sort is a defensive bunch check.
Cluster is a defensive blitz check from a 2 high shell.

Teams will play tango - etc. On and on and on. Adding stuff like this in the game will make people play longer and LEARN real football at the same time.

2 - - - 
Add more defensive coverages in the game. Coverages like Vic Fangio's "Pounder".
Pounder is where the defense is playing cover 2 man underneath, but the 2 safeties aren't playing deep halves. They are more like 1/4's safeties - reading inside out from Number 2 to Number 1. Fangio runs this for a variety of different reasons and the corners underneath play their leverage based upon where their help is.

Add more coverages like Cover 5 cougar. Cover 5 cougar is like a cover 2 man variant. Where, depending on what route is ran by the number 2, the defense may end up playing cover 2 man, or it may morph into a pseudo cover 2 zone type coverage where the outside corner MAN turns with his assignment up the field, but then leaks off and jumps the flat because the number 2 ran an out. The second defender in on this play would leak off of the number going out, and cut the number 1.

There is another defensive coverage that plays concepts like Flood or Sail PERFECTLY. I can't remember the name. But these are coverages that should be in your game.

3 - - - 
Make everything customizable. As the user, I should have a menu where it asks what check do I want my defense to check to against bunch if I select Cover 4, Cover 3, Cover 2 . . . etc. If user doesn't mess with those menus, than the game just automatically checks into box, or spot drop . . . etc.

4 - - - Hire me.

There are so much more. If you were to add all of the different types of defenses in the game, there would be no fear in allowing users to create their own offensive plays. Imagine allowing people to create their own offensive plays. People would never put the controller down. You'd have endless videos of people sharing their creative thoughts on offense. And you wouldn't fear it breaking the coding of the game because you have all of the necessary tools in Madden to stop offenses. So much to talk about. I assume this will fall on deaf ears , but it was worth a shot. Peace.

It's more likely they'll take stuff out than add the things we want as a community. It took months to add custom playbooks back in this year and we still can't choose our uniforms in online h2h games. They won't even address something as basic as choosing your uniforms, so I have very little hope they'll actually add things to the game to make it better. More likely they'll remove features and slowly add them back in over the course of months after the release date.

But if we can’t get that, building in mandatory divisional opponent as last game of season is needed.

Just make it so we can modify the body types....chicken legs on lineman and fat calves on skinny skill position guys and defensive backs is irritating 

Honestly. Instead of replace a team to add team builder. We need to feature back where we can just add a 33rd - 64th team. This will make the player feel like his/her team or teams is competing against the 32 teams. 

Like college football let us realign divisions and conferences.

some examples: Teams: A train theme team, Archers, Pirates, Sharks, Orcas, Cryptos, Stallions, Angels, Guardians, Vipers or Rattlers, Tornadoes, a UFO theme team

cities: Birmingham, Al, Salt Lake City, Edmington in Canada, more cities in Mexico, Oakland CA, a city in New Mexico, Oklahoma City, Louisville Kentucky 

It would be terrific if EA could make a game that wasn’t unplayable. I like to play an offline franchise. I haven’t bought Madden in several years because of this. The file corrupts after four and a half seasons. The game runs out of coaches. I hear this past year the players looked off, and the game would bench the starters. It’s too bad. If EA cared just a little, the game could be decent. I was looking forward to NCAA football returning, but I didn’t buy it because I knew it would mirror Madden in the glitch department. I’ll give you a nice request. EA should update the list of colleges to choose from when creating players. Several schools on the list no longer have football. Some schools are not on the list. And some schools have changed names.

I think a ERAS type mode would do numbers

Legends roster would be nice like in past maddens. No point of it just being online when  it could be offline as well. I don’t mean a legends team like in madden 25 ( Barry sanders cover) more like a roster in madden 10

I did really enjoy this year's version of the game!  I definitely wish EA could figure out a way to get the draft classes in but I get that the economics of that might never work.  As strictly a franchise player I do have a few requests.  Please fix the salary cap for CPU teams, Miami, KC and other teams should not be starting a season $50-70 million over the cap while game players have to adhere to strict cap.  Being able to tweak things like run vs pass tendency on offense or blitz tendencies on defense would be really nice to have.  

Please fix real time of day shadows. I hate having a game at 4:25 in December and it’s sunny the whole game. MLB the show does this to perfection. 

A new feature that would be appreciated throughout the community is the ability to choose what player we want to user as we pick our play so that we wont have to cycle through 5+players during pre-snap and gives more time for defensive adjustments. This would be a great counter to players who like to quick snap. EA_Illium EA_Draya 

Look at what 2K5 did for their broadcast/halftime/postgame presentation. 

More “around the league” during seasons, week ending highlights, put some work into presentation.

Please have a running version of Madden on Steam Deck! At any cost.

I think they should add the coin flip to the game like In real life. 

This is a must. The rotation of games every season is very silly. And to have back to back to back road games is unheard of. It should be every other week home/away

Please add in more player faces for custom players and custom coaches as well. Player models need specific body types. Lineman need to look like lineman like someone else said. Leg shapes should vary based on player position

Also one of my biggest requests is players removing their mouthpieces between places and untucked jerseys that happens in real life a lot and jersey cuffs being misaligned throughout the game

If thats how its going to be make your game read and react to proper code its lacking gameplay credibility why do fake try hards play like gods but when im playing like a reasonable person i get my **bleep** handed to me why it gotta be so try hardy thats not football im playing its a blitz game now just make blitz then, btw madden should be free to play cause its going that route anyway....

I want to add how great the nfl2k5 franchise mode was it is so ahead of its time its still extremely playable till this day in 2025 20 years later the broadcasting is hilarious and with beat commentary there's weekly sportscast like SportsCenter cutscenes that show u everything that's happening on a game by game weekly basis with stats and highlights literally 3.5-5 minutes long giving if any injuries or a highlighted story on a player rising status or rookie or record on the line its phanomily detailed and they need to fix those player behaviors they all seem so inattentive and distracted the game has no enthusiasm to keep me playing its so boring so sad undriven feeling playing every madden they need to make the game more hyper realistically what i truely want is BRAND NEW NFL2K GAME BADLY FIRE EA AND CANCEL MADDEN FOOTBALL.... Or make it basically just like it with madden hot routes....

Something similar to NBA 2k ears mode you can start a franchise in any ears and the draft classes are up to date this would be awsome

Make the cap editable and more options for free use in franchise mode so players can make their own creative league
