Re: Jordan Love Stats

@JDudTheStud @-i-GutZ6

If it still shows left handed at the game's launch can you post it in our bug report board?

https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/bd-p/madden-nfl-25-bug-reports-en

@JDudTheStud

Do you think he should be higher or lower than 81? There's a lot of hype around him going into this season give the run he had in the second half of last year, but keep in mind the ratings for him could jump significantly upward if he comes out hot at the start of the season. Looking forward to the ratings conversations in these forums this year, thanks for stopping by.

    @EA_Blueberry he should be an 84 with Superstar dev. No way Trevor Lawrence has abilities still when he has been average for a while. Purdy got abilities after 1 year so should Love

    of course he should be higher. His stats last year put him in the top 10. Why does he have to prove himself to go up. shouldn't he be higher to start and than if he doesn't show up you lower it?
    It isn't hype he was statistically near Dak for the full season and you have dak at 90 and Love at 81. So either Dak should be lower of Love should be higher. And as you said Love was the better QB in the second half of the season. Why wouldn't you start their gradings of them how they ended the season? Also he didn't go up after preseason game one where he nailed a 65 yard TD on his second throw.

    Hit up that ratings hotline my man! There's a number you can call to vocalize your thoughts to our ratings adjustor.

    https://www.ea.com/games/madden-nfl/ratings

    So here's all the QBs:

    https://www.ea.com/games/madden-nfl/ratings/positions-ratings/quarterback/QB

    One thing to take into consideration is that the OVR is ALL stats. If you look at the stats LOVE has for the QB position and compare it to other QBs, it's pretty close to the QBs in the upper tier. Guys like Hurts will have a higher boost because of his agility and speed as a runner.

    If you look at the list of QBs at the top, they are a combination of veterans of the league and all have had some amazing seasons in the books. I see the argument with Purdy but to counter, Purdy led the team to a Super Bowl and I believe had the best passer rating of all QBs most of the season? At one point he was definitely in the conversation for MVP.

    Love had 1 full starting season under his belt (reminds me of the year Herbert had his rookie year) and he crushed it second half. I'm a believer in him this year, but reflecting back in the 2023 if you look at his QBR and Passer Rating to other QBs, he still fell short.

    Almost everyone is massively underrating him. Even the fantasy "experts" barely have him in the top 15 lol

    Good. I have him in my league and will target him in every Franchise draft in Madden! 😉

    Love the discussion!  (no pun intended)

    @8lr31kgu1q8f Appreciate it! We have a lot of our EA Community Forum team spread out across our forums looking into the issues being reported by fans, collecting feedback to pass to developers, and help moderate when needed, so we try to jump in and have some fun as much as we can. It's a community here so have some fun with others and we'll try to jump into the conversations when we can. We have some of the more active Community Managers dedicated to these Madden boards on our welcome post if you need a reference to flag us down.

    See you on the field!

    @EA_Blueberry I know this is off topic, but since I have your attention here and since I know you engage in our conversations... Is there any way to make jerseys reflect something like L. Jackson or E. Jackson for Lamar and Eddie Jackson?

    @8lr31kgu1q8f

    Is there a specific reason why you want that? They wouldn't be on the field at the same time so distinguishing them apart wouldn't be the issue.

    We would have to follow up and see if we can confirm but it may be due to licensing how the jerseys made in game have to reflect what they look like in this current season of the NFL. We will pass along suggestions from fans on our forums but some may ultimately not be possible because of limitations. An example would be Madden fans wanting a certain real life player to be in our game but it's possible because they declined/refuse.

    That's a fair point. In the past Maddens the team has made updates to likeness and other vanity features like uniforms as the season went on. As the forum team we'll share the feedback their way to consider post-launch so they can hopefully squeeze it into future updates. If not, perhaps it can be done for a future title. So if there aren't any changes this year for the uniforms, it doesn't mean it won't make it into a future one.

    The team highlighted authenticity and uniforms in the presentation deep dive. We do to take in feedback over the years as part of the development process and I can tell you from being on the forums for years we see uniform and likeness discussions pop up every year.

    @8lr31kgu1q8f If you can, would you be able to create a "uniform wishlist" thread where it's specific to uniform suggestions/improvements so it's focused fired there which can make it easier for us to pass to the team and if others on the forums come with suggestions we can point them there? We've had these in the past like for NHL which help make it great for collecting community feedback.

    Not sure if you're a Ravens fan or not, but looking forward to using Henry and Lamar on the field at the same time. Got high hopes for them this season and this is coming from a Bengals fan.

    @EA_BlueberryWill do! Huge Ravens fan. Hopefully we can get our third Superbowl this year. Some teams struggle to win any at all.

    @EA_Blueberry Do you ever do online franchise mode? I'd love to join you if you do

    @8lr31kgu1q8f

    I haven't been in any serious ones in a while. I have a lot of sports activities taking place after work so it's just difficult to stay committed to the matchups, so offline Franchise is where I play around a bit when I do. It would be really fun to have a Forum Connected Franchise League where some community members in here play together. Maybe we can look into that or some quick H2H sessions down the road?

    @EA_Blueberry I TRULY hope your team will focus on the many, many, MANY other issues with this years' game rather than worrying about nameplates.

    Just an example: What on earth is going on with the accelerated clock issues, in BOTH games? It never runs properly regardless of how it is set, or does it work with 2 minutes to go at the end of each half, unless the USER has the ball and is using the "chew clock" option. This has never been an issue before, why now?

    I just don't get how meticulous attention to details are constantly overlooked...I really don't.
  • @dokken12 Meticulous attention to details is indeed details such as nameplate accuracy. What you are describing involves basic gameplay issues, which certainly should be addressed.

    I responded to you about the clock here. If you can give us as much info as possible we'll forward it along. As of what we do here on the forums we will track all the player feedback + tech + bug reports to pass along. The Madden team will use that information, along with all the other sources they use both from other channels and internal data to help make decisions on what to prioritize for future game updates.

    We recommend following MaddenNFLDirect for game updates and communication on issues impacting players to be aware of. We'll relay the communications from there here in the forums and post the patch notes here when game updates release. Gameplay is always top of mind to the team so don't be confuse my brief chat about ratings and uniforms in getting an impression we are prioritizing that over other issues reported in here. We may not be able to jump into every gameplay discussion but we are working in the background passing those along.

    The biggest thing we ask of the community is to participate in as many threads as you can that is most important to you to help raise more visibility. If you can do that, we'll do our part in passing that along to the Madden team.

    ESO gold is essential to success in The Elder Scrolls Online as it allows players to repair gear, expand inventory and bank space, purchase mounts from other players, contribute to guilds, buy equipment from other players and upgrade weapons and armor. But buying in-game currency should only be undertaken after due consideration has been given. By visiting the site, you'll quickly get the gist of MMOGAH eso gold.
